Believers of the One
The Believers of the One worship a god that claims to be the only true god.
They call themselves the Believers of the One True God, while unbelievers call them the Believers of the One False God, to mock them.
They have recently come to believe that converting others to their religion by force is the only way they'll ever spread their religion. This is mostly due to Dia Tempest, queen of Haven. She claims to have seen a vision.
The Believers, who mostly all live on Storm Haven island, are gearing up for war.
The Truth
The being they worship is actually a fallen angel that's lost his marbles. The fact that he's worshiped at all is odd. Still more odd is the monotheistic religion based on him.
He gave Dia the vision. He wants mortal bloodshed on a massive scale, in order to attract demons to the mortal plane, as wars always seem to. This in turn should get his former angelic comrades more involved in the mortal plane, to balance out with their own unseen influence. Once this is accomplished, he hopes to force a direct conflict between them through the actions of Dia.
