There are a few new specialties of the Piloting skill in this setting:

Broom: Any broom, staff or other pole enchanted with the Flight spell. Requires two hands on the broom/staff/pole's shaft, but a version of the Hands-Free Riding technique (see p. MA73) called Hands-Free Piloting may be purchased to get around this. Defaults: Carpet at -3, Lighter-Than-Air or Vertol at -4 and any other Piloting at -5.

Carpet: Any carpet enchanted with the Flight spell. Requires two hands on the leading edge of the carpet, but a version of the Hands-Free Riding technique (see p. MA73) called Hands-Free Piloting may be purchased to get around this. Defaults: Broom at -3, Lighter-Than-Air or Vertol at -4 and any other Piloting at -5.
