The Formains, natives of the plane of Arcadia, can also be found on the Prime Material Plane. They're giant ants that can lift the front section of their body off the ground, using their front two legs like hands. For this reason they've been nick-named centaur-ants.

There are four castes of Formian: Worker, Warrior, Myrmarch and Queen. Each caste obeys those in higher castes, so long as they're from the same hive.

Formians normally don't leave their hives for protracted periods of time, but a Warrior or Myrmarch might be appointed as a trader or representative (this might not work so well for a PC).

Any PC Formian would have to justify their adventuring in terms of serving their hive. This requires an Unusual Background, and should never, ever be allowed for a Queen.
