The Foes of the Wand view magic items as a crutch that any real wizard should avoid using. They even go so far as to view magic items as a threat to wizard craft everywhere.

Members may exchange magic items for spells of comparable power. The magic items are destroyed by the Foes.

Gaining membership requires turning over a magic item to be destroyed and then the new member swears an oath to never use magic items. There are no fees to maintain membership.
