The Brotherhood of Alchemy, while considered a wizardly organization, is not strictly such. Alchemists of any kind are welcome. It's members dedicate themselves to alchemical research.

The Brotherhood keeps detailed logs on the projects of it's members, which they will only share with other members. The intent behind this is that anyone doing similar research might benefit from cooperation with others doing the same type of work. Anyone sharing this information with outsiders will be immediately expelled from the Brotherhood.

Joining the Brotherhood requires proof of original alchemical research and a $100 entrance fee. Maintaining membership requires $20 a year.

The Brotherhood gives a 10% discount on the purchase of alchemical supplies to it's members and will provide assistance to members that have reached a dead end in their research. This usually takes the form of correspondence with others doing similar work.
