Motivation
Every encounter has it's standard motif; goblins hunting for wild game or kobolds checking traps. It's good to have defaults, but it isn't a good idea to follow them all the time.
The purpose of this page is to provide ideas for the motivations behind the creatures involved in random encounters, or to at least get the GM thinking about their motivations.
