Causes the bodies of those affected to lose water in all the cells of their body.

Those that die of this continue to wither and dry until their body is completely destroyed or the spell has run it's course. If the body is destroyed by this spell, it tends to collapse into a pile of dust.

This can be ended prematurely by any magic-dispelling effect.
