Notes

The Loyalists are tougher compared to the Rebels and the tribal goblins, because Charda has enforced some strict new rules for the warriors:

A) They're now required to go on a 10 mile run every day. This has made them fit and strong.

B) They spend time training with their weapons daily. They're much more skilled than the rebels.

C) They spend some time torturing each other every day, in order to increase their tolerance for pain. Now they don't flinch when they're struck by a weapon. They also enjoy doing this to each other (goblins delight in being cruel).

D) The warriors protect the women and children, or Charda will flay them alive and then bring them back to life just to kill them again, even slower.

The consequences of disobeying Charda are worse than death (zombification). Charda has used thier natural cowardice as the means to propel them to obedience.

There are a few other differences, as well:
A) The're just a bit fat, since they've been eating much better since Charda took over.

B) Their defenses in the cave involve quite a bit of climbing, so they've gotten quite good at it.

C) Charda taught them a spear fighting style that involves using a spear in a defensive style like a staff, then fluidly switching to a spear technique for attacking. This is more effective than their older spear and shield style, so they've stopped using shields.
