Notes

Michel Brent is a thug. He may be an expert with both knifes and shortswords, but he's still just a thug.

This aside, he's also an excellent leader that other mercenaries look to when decisions need to be made.

He's a Weirdness Magnet, which has led to his group being composed of rather strange folks, including "The Mime."

His story is short and simple. He had a family. One day he decided to abandon them and take up a life of crime, because he was really terrible at being a farmer.

He never looked back, but did take up drinking to drown out his conscience.

When he is struck down in battle, he won't die. He'll instead start following those who defeated him, begging them to tell his family he's sorry. The moment they promise him, he'll appear to pass out and die. However, he won't actually die until they do as promised. If they don't, he'll show up again, probably at some inopportune moment. He'll keep showing up until they do as they promised.

He has a long criminal record and is wanted on just about every island for something or other. He's well known to the Law Keepers as a murderer, who have a strong desire to bring him to justice for his crimes. He has in fact killed several Law Keepers, including one Special Agent sent to bring him in. Most of the Law Keepers would consider it justice if he happened to die from an "unfortunate accident" on the way back for punishment.
